On your wrist
Your Bubble, on your wrist.
Start a round on your phone and the watch fills in: the shot in front of you and the hole in front of you, without taking the phone out of your pocket. Apple Watch with the iPhone app, or a Garmin with either phone.
Apple Watch
- Front, centre and back of the green, your distance and club, measured from the wrist's own GPS
- A hole map you can aim on: tap or drag to move the target, and the Digital Crown zooms
- Inside 40 metres, Green Focus gives the chip a number, lets you drag the ball to where it finished, and closes the hole
- Wind and slope folded into a plays-like number, from your watch's own weather
- Score between holes, and AIM locks the shot and brings the map up
Garmin watch
- Front, centre and back distances, and the club your bag covers the shot with
- The hole map with your position, the green, your aim point and your Bubble drawn where it will land
- Aim from the wrist — press and hold the map on touch watches, or use the buttons — and the phone follows
- Wind and slope folded into a plays-like number, from your watch's own weather
- Take the round over from the watch, lock a shot as you play it, and move between holes
Watch play is free. The Apple Watch app comes with the iPhone app (watchOS 10 or later). A Garmin needs the Clarity Caddy app from the Connect IQ store, and works with iPhone or Android.
